Developmental Milestones and Finger Foods For Toddler

3 Months Old

  • Cereal bars, ingredients should state enriched bleached flour on cereal bars. Sunbelt brand is more nutritious, found by the Little Debbie Snacks.
  • Mini pancakes small pieces, No syrup

          Frozen/Canned/Fresh Vegetables

  • Peas/ whole
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Carrots/ diced
  • Green beans canned/frozen diced
  • French Fries Frozen cook in oven diced or allowed child to hold (stick)
  • Pork and Beans
  • Mixed vegetables frozen or canned remove corn. Children can not digest whole corn kernels. 
  • Tater tots cut into small pieces
  • Grilled Cheese sandwich cut into small pieces

          Snacks

  • cheese singles small pieces

  • White bread pieces
  • Saltine crackers/ are thin and melt in mouth
  • Ritz round crackers/ are thin and melt in their mouths.
  • Yogurt

  • Cereal bars, make sure the first ingredient isn’t filling.
  • Pudding
  • Chex type of cereal.
  • Gerber Graduates cereal bars
